Ink and Ice

So, I'm sorta kinda obsessed with how amazing these pictures turned out!

I had the honor of being part of this Ink and Ice photoshoot a little while back and I loved every moment of it! I got to hang out with three fellow bloggers who I happen to adore and the set design was so beautiful! I loved the concept of the shoot and just how everything came together perfectly.

Jess made sure we were all looking fabulous in our wardrobe and Mary Claire was there to capture every moment using her sweet photography skills. Everything was naturally lit, which I love because it makes everything look so real and natural. The mastermind behind the floral arrangements and set design was Amber and she did such a phenomenal job! We may or may not have stolen some blueberries off the table for some snackage in between shots, whoops. I love collaborations like this where a group of talented and creative minds come together to create something magnificent.

Happy Star Wars Day!

I thought I'd celebrate by sharing a couple throwback pictures from an outfit post I did a while ago with this awesome Stormtrooper tee :). To see the entire outfit post, click HERE. I'm kind of an undercover film buff (I graduated with a film degree... wow that sounds weird saying... "I graduated...") so Star Wars may or may not have a special place in my heart.

The weather has been nice and warm with a little breeze in the air.

With the new season making its debut, I definitely would say that there are new trends to look out for! One of my personal favorites are harem pants. I mentioned in an earlier post that they are not my husband's favorite, but I adore them soooo, sorry Connor! :) I just love how comfortable they are! It's like a classier version of sweatpants--the best of both worlds! Another trend I've been looking forward to is lots and lots of denim. Denim vests, denim shorts, denim jackets, denim.....necklaces? (nahhhhhh) I love this denim jacket I'm wearing in today's post because it's not too heavy but it keeps me warm enough if there is a chill in the air.

Yep, you read right. That camera lens I'm holding in my pictures is a MUG! One of my classmates has one and I got really jealous of it so I decided to get one of my own! It's prefect for taking hot cocoa on-the-go when I'm running late to class and it has a stainless steel thermos interior so it keeps my drink nice and warm in the cold weather! I thought it was pretty essential for me to have one of these since I'm a film major and all, haha.

Also, isn't my Anchor Bracelet adorable? It's probably the only bracelet in the world that fits my abnormally tiny wrists because the lovely Laura from Pure Impressions custom made it just for me!
