Happy Tasty Tuesday! I'm here today to bring you another yummy smoothie from Simple Green Smoothies!

I know what you're thinking: Cilantro? In a SMOOTHIE?
Now, I absolutely love cilantro, but when I first saw this recipe I thought the exact same thing. But I was so intrigued with it, that I had to try it out! Turns out, cilantro in a smoothie is pretty delicious! What's great about this smoothie is that it's also a detox so if you're in the mood to give your body a cleanse, you should definitely try this one out!

Cilantro-Mango Detox
-serves 2-

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups spinach, fresh
1/2 cup cilantro, fresh
2 cups water (I substituted almond milk)
1 1/2 cups mango
1 cup pineapple
1/2 avacado

Directions

1. Blend spinach, cilantro, and water/almond milk until smooth.
2. Add the remaining fruits and blend again.
3. Voila!

Let me know if you try this recipe out and what you think of it! I always love hearing feedback!
Also, comment below if you have any favorite green smoothie recipes (or just regular smoothie recipes)! I need to expand my smoothie recipe collection. (;

Now on to my story on Customer Service:

Last night Connor and I got a mean craving for some pizza (I know, bad Hamiltons!). So we called in our order to the local Brick Oven, then patiently waited the 20 minutes they said it would take until it would be ready for pick up. When we arrived, we were informed that there was miscommunication and our pizzas had just gone into the oven--meaning we would have another 15-20 minute wait. Sure, Connor and I were a bit bummed, but we understood that accidents happen so we sat down and began our wait.

A couple minutes later, the manager came out to the lobby to personally apologize for the inconvenience. She informed us that we would be getting our pizza for free tonight and offered us some beverages while we waited. Another few minutes later, she came back out again and gave us $15 worth of Brick Oven cash for our next visit and also told us that if we wanted some cookies, she could add them to the order for free.

Connor and I were blown away by how amazing the customer service was at this Brick Oven! To be honest, we wouldn't have cared really if we just had to wait a little longer for our pizza, but the fact that we got a pizza, a $15 gift certificate, beverages, and cookies (although we passed on those) for FREE just because of a little mishap? We walked out of there with happy faces and we hadn't even taken a bite of our pizza yet!

I'm just happy that there are some businesses out there that take customer service very seriously.

So if you're ever craving pizza in Provo, head over to Brick Oven! They got your back.

    1. I know right? We were thoroughly impressed!
You should definitely try one of the recipes! You can't really taste the "green" in it which is great. My favorite is the Strawberry, Banana, Blueberry--which I'll probably do a post on eventually.
