Yum, yum. I love apple crisp so naturally, I had to share this delicious recipe with you all! If you're blanking on what to bring to your family Thanksgiving dinner, give this a try!

Ingredients

Filling
5 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, chopped small
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
3 Tbsp flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Topping
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
6 Tbsp chilled butter, cut into pieces
1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. For the Filling: mix all the ingredients together. Place into 7 to 8 oz. ramekins.
3. For the Topping: mix the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Blend the butter into the mixture until it forms pea size lumps. Stir in pecans and sprinkle over filling.
4. Bake crisps for 35-40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before serving.


  1. My go to drink at Starbuck's depends on the season. For the colder months it is a Venti London Fog or a Venti Caramel Apple Spice. In the warmer months it is always Venti Iced Green Tea Sweetened.

  2. My favorites change with the season, but you can never have enough Starbucks! Love their pumpkin chais, hot chocolate and who can forget those fabulous fraps! oh yummy in my tummy!!! thank you for the giveaway!
