DIY Polaroid Display + Paxton Cove GIVEAWAY!

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

I got a Fujifilm Instax Mini camera for our wedding reception to take pictures of our guests (it was so much cooler than a traditional sign-in book). Being the bridezilla I was at the time, I ordered an enormous amount of film--you know, just in case. So for the past couple years, I've been having fun using up the extra film left over on the fun adventures we've been having!

However, I could never find a cute way to display all my pictures--until now!
Welcome to my DIY of how to make a cute polaroid display using some awesome items from Paxton Cove!

[Also, keep scrolling for an amazing giveaway!]

Here are the supplies you'll need: mini clothespins, washi tape (c/o Paxton Cove), string, and ribbon (also c/o Paxton Cove).
Any wide frame will do--depending on your amount of pictures. I had my handyman husband saw out the frame of a bulletin board.
Wrap washi tape around the frame, alternating between patterns or colors.
Tape a piece of string across the frame. Make sure it's secured and start clipping on your polaroids!
Tie a pretty little bow on top of the frame and hang up the frame using tacks (or whatever you use to hang things).

Voila!

I'm really happy with the way my polaroid display turned out! It adds a personal touch to our kitchen (because I seriously suck at decorating our apartment) and I couldn't have done it without the help of Paxton Cove! They also provided me with awesome chalkboard clips for my Hat Holder that I made--you can view that blog post HERE

Want to get crafty but have no supplies to get you started?
Well, Paxton Cove and I are teaming up for a sweet GIVEAWAY!
One lucky winner will win a set of amazing craft supplies shown below!

1. Chalkboard Clips: Perfect for weddings, showers, potlucks, and parties, these miniature chalkboard handy clips that make it easy to label dishes, drinks snacks, treats, and more! (2.6 inches x 1.8 inches)
2. Washi Tape: To put it simply, washi tape is a high quality masking tape made of rice paper. But more than that, washi tape is a material which is beautiful yet useful at the same time. You can tear it, stick it, reposition it, write on it... The low tack adhesive makes it extremely easy to use (and reuse). I think it is so popular because it is so easy to use--and looks good while doing it! (tape rolls approximately 3/4" to 1/2" x 10m)
3. Chevron Grosgrain Ribbon: These ribbons are great to use for scrapbooking, hair bows, woven headbands, many other craft projects, etc.
4. Washi Masking Sticker Set: *same description as regular Washi Tape but they are pre-cut!
