Best French Toast EVER.

Sunday, July 13, 2014

This past Thursday at the Provo Food Truck Roundup, I had the sweet opportunity to try some gourmet French Toast from a local food truck called The Matterhorn!

French Toast has always been a favorite breakfast (and dessert) meal of mine growing up. It wouldn't be a Saturday morning without waking up to the smell of my mom cooking up some battered bread. It was the perfect thing to indulge in while watching Saturday morning cartoons!

My love for French Toast still hasn't changed in the past 22 years so you can tell my excitement when I had the chance to eat some--gourmet style--from the Matterhorn.
To be frank, it was the quite possibly the best French Toast I have EVER had (sorry mom).

The Matterhorn's logo--I'm loving the colors of their truck! | Landan, the owner of the food truck!

I tried out the North Face--it had strawberries, bananas, Biscoff spread, powdered sugar, cream, and coconut syrup. Yes, it was heaven in French Toast form, guys. I'd highly recommend ordering it!

Don't mind my very unflattering eating face and just focus on the thumbs up I'm giving! Also, couples who feed French Toast to each other, stay together. ;)

I really enjoyed my experience at The Matterhorn! Not only was the French Toast ahhhhhmazingggg, but the service was awesome as well! Their special coconut syrup that they serve alongside the French Toast is to diiieeeee for and I'm not the biggest fan of Biscoff, but for some reason I loved it on the French Toast--every bite just melted in your mouth.

I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone with a sweet tooth and even if you don't have a sweet tooth, you should try it anyway!

Also, is it just me or are food trucks all the rage right now?
They're everywhere and I do not mind it one bit! :)

If you live in Utah, make sure to track them down and experience the deliciousness yourself!
I promise you won't regret it one bit.

Have an amazing Sunday everyone!
