1 VEST + 2 WAYS w/ Rachel Sayumi

Wednesday, November 19, 2014

Eyy yoooo!
Today I'm teaming up with one of my bloggy bffs, Rachel, to show you how we each styled a super cute vest from Oasap! Check out my outfit below and then head over to Rachel's blog to take a closer look at how she styled her vest!

Vest: c/o Oasap
Sweater: c/o Oasap
Leggings & Plaid: c/o Oasap
Boots: c/o LuLu*s [similar, similar]

Rachel and I joke all the time about how we are twins because aside from the fact that we are both Japanese, we have A LOT of the same clothes. We also have very similar style and work with a lot of the same companies so naturally, we are always drawn to the same items! When we both ended up getting this vest from Oasap, we couldn't help but do a little collaboration to see how we each would style them! I love how Rachel paired hers with a sweater tunic and riding boots--it gives the look such an edgy boho vibe! Don't forget to head over to her blog, Rachel Sayumi, to take a closer look at her outfit and make sure you say hello while you're there!

Also, how hilarious is it that it's still nice and green over in Oregon where Rachel is and it's already freakin' winter here in Utah. The side-by-side comparison of the weather in these two pictures make me crack up and want to cry at the same time.

Anyway, if you need me I'll be over here getting my Olaf on...

Cheers.

  3. You both look beyond adorable. I would wear both outfits. I love that vest and your plaid shirt. Layered, cute+casual, put-together and a little grunge. A perfect Casual Fall Outfit, Ariel. =)

Have a great day. <3 Ada.

  4. I love the 90's grunge look. After all, I am a 90's baby! But really, this outfit looks so cozy-I just spent the week in Denver, and I was totally unprepared for the snow, considering I live in Phoenix! The temperature differences are seriously crazy. It was so good to see snow though! :) Btw-I love the red hair! Looks freaking fantastic.
