Some of you may hate me for saying this (I even kind of hate myself for saying this) but I really want it to snow already!!! Every year I dread the day during winter where it snows all day and it sticks to the ground, frozen, for the next week or so, but that day has weirdly not come yet this year. I think it's one of those "you only want something when you don't have it" things I'm totally going through right now. If it had already snowed a ton I'd be sick and tired of it, but since it hasn't.....I weirdly want it to.
Am I a hypocrite for saying that?

One of the main reasons I want it to snow is because it doesn't quite feel like Christmas without it. Growing up in Hawaii I've NEVER EVER had a white Christmas but always dreamed of one until I finally moved here to Utah. It actually felt like winter because it wasn't 70 degrees every day of the year. I've grown to associate snow falling outside to the Christmas season and since there hasn't been much of that, it feels like something is missing. Oh well.

A perk to it being a warmer winter season is that I can still wear only one layer in an outfit without freezing my caboose off. I thought this knit hoodie was pretty cute when I first saw it on East & Lo but when I got it in the mail and put it on for the first time, I fell in loooooove. It has such a flowy fit--it allows me to stuff my face with all the food I want because it hides my food baby. You can pair it with leggings or jeans, like the Flying Monkey ones (isn't that a fun brand name?) I'm wearing today, also from East & Lo.

We are heading to Seattle this Sunday to spend Christmas with Connor's family! The chances of it snowing in Seattle though is less likely than it snowing here so for now I guess I'll just go back to dreaming of a White Christmas. ;)
