...the innocent can never lasttttt, wake me up when September endsssss.
That song is always on repeat in my head whenever September rolls around.
Such a classic.
But really, summer has really come and passed like crazy! Like where did you come from September? You sneaky dickens... Not gonna lie though, I'm kiiind of stoked Fall is pretty much here. I can't help it! I'm a complete Fall Girl. I love sweaters, boots, and scarves. I love maroon, navy, and olive. And not to mention my birthday is in October. :) I was born to love and live in the Fall season.
But since the summer season is entirely over (technically Autumn begins officially on September 23rd), I thought I would share the last of my summer outfits on my blog. I pretty much lived in this dress from Groopdealz this season whenever I had errands to run or I was just out and about. It's light, comfy, and so easy to just throw on and leave the house while still feeling cute and put together. Something I've collected a lot of over the summer are different totes and simple bags. I just love how perfect they are for throwing things into whenever you go to the beach or pool! This specific tote is from an organization called the Fashion Project! At Fashion Project, they resell higher end clothing for charity--like an online charitable consignment shop. Their mission is to change the world one piece of clothing at a time, or in other words, "make fashion a force for good." For more information on how their organization works, check out their website!
If you watched my Q&A video last week, you'd know that I've been battling a cold recently. For some reason this cold WILL NOT QUIT. I've rested, taken medicine, drank fluids, the whole shebang--and I'm still coughing up a lung every night. I guess it doesn't help that both Connor and I are sick so I think we keep passing the sickness back and forth to each other. The germs are just tag-teaming one another. It's times like this when I really miss home because there's nothing like having good ole mom take care of your when you're sick (Connor is amazing but it's hard when he's gone at work for 75% of the day). Miss you mom!
