Good Vibes

Sweater: c/o Billie+Betty
Jeans: c/o Impression Online Boutique
Boots: c/o LuLu*s
Purse: Coach--thrifted!
Necklace: c/o Le Tote

'Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
Shake it off, shake it off

Nothing like a little T-Swizzle to kick off the weekend!

I thought Tay's new song and this Fall sweater I'm wearing today from Billie+Betty go perfectly together because they both promote good vibes and positive attitudes! Sometimes we need to dance it out to an upbeat song with catchy lyrics to make a bad day better. And sometimes we need to wear a sweater that reminds yourself and especially others, that we are all brilliant. It doesn't matter how you stay positive, just as long as you do it (and it doesn't hurt to look stylish while doing so)!

Sweater: c/o Skip N' Whistle
Leggings: c/o SWELL
Booties: Thrifted! [similar]

So, I'm kind of obsessed with this sweater I got from Skip N' Whistle.
I mean,
there are cats dressed up as Indians on it.
How can you not love it??

Skip N' Whistle is an online retailer based in New Orleans that sells a wide range of clothing and merchandise at great prices. The thing I love most about their shop are the fun designs that are screen printed onto their shirts and sweaters! Seriously they are so unique and awesome--Example A: my Indian Cats Sweater.

If you're a bird, I'm a bird.

Well, yesterday was amazing.
The Seahawks won the Super Bowl!!!

Especially stoked for my husband because he's been wanting this to happen since who knows when.
He'll be on a post-game high for a while, which makes me happy.
Because if he's a bird, I'm a bird.
or in this case...
If he's a Seahawk, I'm a Seahawk. ;)

Have a happy Monday everyone!
Hope you Broncos fans aren't too depressed from yesterday...

Cheers.

{ Look 4: Wintery }

Dress: c/o LuLu*s
Coat: c/o LuLu*s
Scarf: H&M
Boots: PacSun
Purse: Coach

I decided to go for a Wintery look for my finale outfit in this fun series! I love how this coat compliments and flatters my dress by giving the look some texture. It also keeps me warm during this awful, awful, cold weather. Of course, I had to add a maroon scarf to give the outfit a pop of color--as well as to keep my neck from freezing! You could wear this outfit to church, work, school, a party--really anywhere and everywhere.

I've had soooo much fun putting together this awesome LuLu*s Holiday Dress Series for you all! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! Also, I really hope I inspired at least one of you to build an every day outfit around your fancy holiday dress! Hopefully your dress can now come out and play more often, other than just at holiday parties a couple times a year!

Below is another rundown of the wonderful items I've used from LuLu*s to help build these outfits, as well as my looks from the series! Special thanks to them for sponsoring this series!

Boho Chic // Edgy Glam // Prep // Wintery (above)

Still need help dressing down your holiday dress?
Well, as part of the finale to my series, LuLu*s is giving away $100 in store credit to their store online to one lucky Auteur Ariel reader!!! If that doesn't help you with your outfits, I don't know what will!

Enter using the Rafflecopter below and may the odds be ever in your favor.

ps. What was your favorite look from my series? :)

Amorium Jewelry Giveaway

Monday, November 25, 2013

Bracelet: Amorium Jewelry
Thumb Ring: Amorium Jewelry
Cardigan: Forever 21
Pants: PacSun
Boots: Wet Seal
Necklace: Wet Seal
Purse: Coach

Hello Monday and Hello Thanksgiving Break!
My only class today (and this week) is cancelled so I am officially on break! I'm soooo excited to stuff my face with turkey and pie this weekend, it's crazy. Besides the food, the best part of Thanksgiving break is that once it's over, I only have one more week of school then it's dunzo for the semester! Yay! Okay, now on to fashion-related things.

Amorium Jewelry is an online handmade jewelry boutique that sells a variety of products! Amorium Jewelry aims to bring back the traditional methods of jewelry production in the age of plastics and mass production. The thing I love most about Amorium Jewelry is that no two products are the same. Every single Amorium piece is handmade by using millenia old Aegian methods. They bring unique jewelry for unique souls!

I absolutely love my Red Thick Swarovski Bracelet and Silver Zigzag Ring! The bracelet is the perfect shade of red for the upcoming Holiday season and you can't go wrong with a little bling on your wrist! I've also been looking around for a cute ring I can wear on my thumb and this one is perfect! I love how it veers away from tradition and takes a zigzag form!

Welcome to ONEderland! [My 100th Post]

Thursday, November 21, 2013

Cardigan: c/o Oasap
Watch: c/o Arvo
Fedora: Cotton On [similar]
Necklace: H&M
Boots: Thrifted! [similar]
Purse: Coach

Welcome to my 100th blog post!!!!!
It's so crazy to think that I've hit the triple digits already! I'm officially in ONEderland! ;)
I got the term "ONEderland" from watching The Biggest Loser last night. A contestant finally got her weight down from the 200s to the 100s and Alison was like, "Welcome to ONEderland!"
I thought it was cute.

Anyway, I'm totally awwwwbsessed with my sweet "Batwing" Cardigan from Oasap! It adds that perfect bohemian touch to any outfit, especially if you pair it with a fedora! Oasap has so many great pieces of clothing on their site--check them out for sure! Oh and let me tell you about the feathers in my hair! It's actually an earring I got from a vendor on Venice Beach a while back, but I bobby pinned it to my hair instead! I love when you get accessories that you can switch up and wear a bunch of different ways. :)

Yesterday we dropped off my "little" brother-in-law at the MTC (he's the one wearing the tie, durr). I say "little" because although he is 3 years younger than me, he's like 3 feet taller than me (jk, he's a little over a foot taller but still). It's so weird that I won't see him for the next two years because we've gotten pretty close over the past year. I think out of all of Connor's brothers he's the most like Connor so that's why we get along so well. I'm gonna miss him a ton. Anyway, Mexico City is lucky to have him and I have no doubt that he will be an amazing missionary!

On a more cheerful note: I'M GOING TO THE CATCHING FIRE PREMIERE TONIGHT!
This movie is seriously the only thing getting me through the week.
Jennifer Lawrence can be my BFF any day.
