The Daylee Journal // Auteur Ariel
I'm so so excited to be collaborating with Marsa from The Daylee Journal! This sweet lady left me a blog comment a few months ago and when we realized how much we had in common, we were insta-friends!
Things we have in common:
We are both from Hawaii
We are both Japanese
We are both short ;)
We both have ties in Seattle and Utah
We both love fashion (duh)
Sadly, right when we became friends Marsa had moved from Utah to Seattle so we never got a chance to hang out in person! However, since Connor is from Seattle, we visit a ton so we are planning on meeting up in the future!
Another thing to add to the things we have in common is our style. We both have a love for boots, fedoras, and scarves--just to name a few! We decided it was only appropriate to do a collaboration post on how we each styled a specific piece of clothing. So check out how we each styled our utility jackets--a fall favorite for both of us!

I love how the utility jacket looks with stripes and a pop of color from my scarf. Yellow is a fun color to brighten things up with, especially in the Fall when the color scheme is very neutral. By the way, can I just say how stoked I am to bust out my scarf collection? They've been cooped up for way too long.
Also, I'd like to announce that the winner of my Kensie Giveaway is Kaili! Congrats girl!!!
Stay Classy.
Loving everything about this look! I have a similar utility jacket in my closet, so I'll def be re-creating this outfit sometime in the near future. Xo.
ReplyDeleteyay! i'm happy to hear that! utility jackets are the bomb-diggity.

Haha, I'm 5' 3" and a quarter! I considered myself short in Hawaii cus all my friends were like 5 feet but when I got to Utah I faced the harsh reality that I'm pretty short.... but I GUESS I'm a pretty "tall" asian? haha, I'm half japanese :)
