Sooooo summer is over.

The good news?

FALL IS HERE!!!!

I don't care if I'm being basic by saying this but Fall is by far my FAVORITE season of the year. The weather, the fashion, the food (or themes of food, rather), and my goodness, the NATURE!!! Utah is so so sooooo beautiful in the fall, especially in the mountains and canyons! I'm always so blown away by the colors and how bold they are! I couldn't wait to snap some photos in the mountains and what better company to snap them for than Luca + Grae??

I've been a huge fan of Aspyn Ovard and her adorable fashion sense for ages, so naturally when she and Parker opened up an online clothing store, I was SOLD. I fell in love with Luca + Grae and basically wanted to empty my wallet to buy everything. Soooo imagine my excitement when they reached out to me asking if I wanted to collaborate! It's one thing when a company contacts you to work together--but when it's a company you already love?? Excitement level 1000000.

I was lucky enough to score some of Luca + Grae's new fall collection when it first hit the store and I was not disappointed by the quality and comfort of their clothes! For instance, not only does this Blue Moon Sweater look adorable, but it's SO. FREAKIN. SOFT. It feels exactly like bernat baby blanket yarn--maybe even softer. Also, I've been dying for some black jeans with knee slits so naturally these ones stole my heart. Mix it all together (Hannah Montana, anyone?) with a pair of these Trixi Booties and a cabby hat and it's my perfect, ideal fall outfit. So many warm, fuzzy feelings right now.

I feel like we are at that awkward place in the seasons where Spring and Winter are playing tag team every other day and it's really messing with my head. Just the other day I was taking a warm bike ride in the sun and the next I'm dashing from the car to my apartment trying to escape the rain and wind! April need to get its act together.

In other (obvious) news, it's the weekend!

It's always a happy feeling knowing the next two days are designated for rest and relaxation. I'll probably be taking advice from my sweatshirt and getting some much needed zzzs in. I hope everyone has some fun (and/or chill) plans ahead!

And I mean that in a nice way, not the "go away" way... ;)

The weather has been soooo beautiful this summer (maybe a little too beautiful, some days I'm close to getting heat stroke)! It's also flown by so fast and I'm starting to panic that I won't be able to do all the things on my summer bucket list before it's over! So the other day in the midst of all the craziness that is every day, I made Connor and I (and Samson) drop everything and go on a short little hike up the mountains. It wasn't a crazy, strenuous one or anything, just a small one that let us enjoy the view and get some fresh air! I also got to break in my Khombu Softshell Trail Shoes that are perfect for going on walks and short hikes! They were super comfy and added a little pop of purple to my outfit (because my outfits these days seriously need help in the color department haha).

So if you feel like you're watching summer go by in a flash and haven't even touched your summer bucket list, just take a break and have a little fun! It doesn't even have to be a long one. Go on a bike ride. Walk along a lake or river. Go get some shave ice! All of those things could take 30 minutes or less and I promise you, you'll feel 1000% better after. :)

I interrupt your lovely Friday to share with you this AMAAAAAZING roundie from a cute little company called Lady Scorpio 101. I've been dying for one of these for a while now and this one is just the right print/color/size/everything! Basically, it's perfect. I'll definitely be taking it to the beach and park a lot this summer! Lady Scorpio 101 has all the decor, tapestries, accessories, and jewelry to satisfy your inner gypsy. It's beginning to feel like summer is creeping in real slowly in Utah! It's weird because it's not super bright and sunny outside during the day, but the temperature is sky-rocketing up. I actually feel hot and sticky right now in our apartment--which means it's almost time to hook up the swamp cooler and run that loud baby on all night. Joy. But if putting up with an obnoxious swamp cooler is what it takes to welcome summer, I'm all for it bebe. SUMMER BRING IT ON!

Look at me all punny with my post title. I'm such a hoot, I know.

Today's outfit I feel very "me" in. I'm not saying the rest of the outfits I wear I don't feel like myself--just today's one I feel like screams "ARIELLLLL" for some reason. Does that make sense? I don't know if it's the dominant color of black represented, or the high-waisted jeans, or the platform combat boots. Or maybe it's just all of it. I'm just really digging the vibe of this outfit and feel like it really represents the vibe of my style I've been digging lately! Do you guys have a go-to outfit that you feel extremely comfortable and confident in? Or am I just super alone on this, haha.

But let's be real, 95% of the time I'm in my sweatpants so let's be thankful I didn't post an outfit of that...

My two favorite parts of this outfit--the jeans and boots--are from Tobi and I'm majorly obsessed. I seriously want everything from their store right now because everything is so dang cute!
