Pretty Pastels with LuLu*s: Look 2

Wednesday, April 2, 2014

Dress: c/o LuLu*s
Clutch: c/o LuLu*s
Booties: c/o LuLu*s
Necklace: Forever 21 c/o Coupons.com
Floral Crown: Francesca's
Kimono: H&M [similar]

Here is Look 2 of my Pretty Pastels series with LuLu*s!
I went for a dressy vibe for this look, and this pretty peach dress was the perfect pastel color. Peach is so soft and elegant--I couldn't resist! The black booties give the outfit a little edge (which I love), and the clutch is a great classy accessory! Of course, like I mentioned in an earlier post, I couldn't resist adding a floral crown and kimono to this look because I'm kind of addicted to those suckers.

and don't forget, I'll be hosting a LuLu*s Giveaway this Friday so be sure to tune in!

Few updates and random thoughts:

-- Connor and I started the Whole30 Program yesterday. The biggest problem I faced was not feeling full enough after each meal. I guess taking away starches from your diet will do that to ya...
-- I was so so so sooooooo disappointed in the How I Met Your Mother series finale. I felt like they tried to fit too much into the episode and the twists they revealed were just... lame. It's so upsetting because I followed and worshipped this show for so long and I felt like they didn't do the ending justice. Oh well...
-- Our latest TV show obsession? The Vampire Diaries. Oh my addicting! We literally got through the entire first season in ONE day. I'm loving the storyline so far but I hope it's not one of those series that gets tired after the first few seasons... No spoilers please! :)
-- A couple of short documentaries I helped make got selected for a film festival! Nothing big, just one that BYU throws every year but still, pretty exciting!
-- 22 days till graduation. Say whatttt?
-- Still loving my short hair. Yayyyyy!

Hope everyone is getting through hump day!

Cheers.

  11. Aw, you wear the kimono so well. I like the look of them but always worry that I'm going to end up looking like an eccentric who's left the house in their sleepwear instead?

  12. Love the dress and the clutch!

  13. I LOVE Vampire Diaries... I started when season 1 began and have kept up with it consistently ever since (this is seriously the only show I have done that with) I will say that some of the plots seems a little outrageous but it is a show meant to keep my attention and it really does! Reign on the CW is also an awesome one.
