Fleece: c/o AMIclubwear
Scarf: Zara [similar]
Leggings: Madewell
Boots: c/o Khombu

Yep, I do indeed own that scarf that everybody and their dog seem to have these days.
And of course, I loooooove it.

The only this is: it's HUGE.
Like reaaaaaaaally huge.
I demonstrated how humongous this scarf is in a post last year here.

I'd like to wear it more often but because of how chunky it is, I can't seem to find cute ways to wear it without looking like I'm literally wearing a blanket.
To all of you ladies who do own this beautiful scarf, can you please share your secrets of how you style it? Ways you tuck in the excess parts, certain pieces of clothing you wear it with, etc. Because I really don't want to opt into having to trim it down and destroy it accidentally in the process.

Please and thank you :)

Happy Hump Day.
Whenever Wednesday rolls around I'm ready to fall into a nice mid-week coma.
This dog has got the art of snuggling down.

Stay cuddly friends.

  1. this is so, so cute and I love your hair color!!

  2. Love it. I have a scarf JUST like this, I think it's an exact dupe. I love it, but it is HUGE! Also, that dog gif, stop, too cute

  3. There are a lot of blog posts about how to style a blanket scarf that I've read, and one way is to fold it in half diagonally and tie it like almost like a handkerchief around your neck and tuck the ends under. You can also wear it almost as a vest and belt it. Have a great day!

  4. that scarf is gorgeous!

    xx nikki

  5. Gorgeous plaid scarf!!

  6. I just found your blog through the Mormon Fashion Blogger list, and am happy to be following a long now! I'm totally in love with that scarf too even though everyone else has it! It's the best!

  7. I have this same scarf and I love it! I also have it in red and black plaid. There are two ways that I love to wear them: A) fold it in half diagonally so that it makes a large triangle. Then wrap it around your neck like a bib, but bring the ends back down in front, under the triangle and knot them together. B) Fold it in half diagonally so that it makes a large triangle. Put it on like a cape, with the triangle on your back and the long ends hanging down in front. Belt the dangling ends in place with a skinny belt at the small of your waist. Voila! ;)

  8. Too funny -- after I read your post, I came across this post illustrating how to tie a blanket scarf! :)
