Hope you all survived the weekend! If you read my previous post, you would know that my Fourth of July was off to a rough start. However, once morning came around, it ended up being an amazing day! After we watched the parade, we went tubing down the Provo River with a group of friends. It was my first time floating down a river and it was amaaaaaazing! The water was freezing cold but since it was blazing hot, it balanced things out perfectly. Connor was a champ and came to my rescue multiple times whenever I would get stuck on rocks and tangled in branches. Love that guy.
After we had ourselves a little BBQ then went with our friends Jessica and Dallin to scout out a spot to watch the fireworks! All the prime locations in Provo were already occupied so we resorted to a little fence hopping. We ended up have an entire soccer field to ourselves and had a perfect view of the Stadium of Fire fireworks! It was probably the best firework show I've seen yet! Later we came back to our apartment and played with some of our own fireworks, as well as discovered the beauty of long exposure photography. (:
This picture above was actually taken yesterday at the Freedom Festival but I couldn't help sharing it cus Samson is so dang cute drooling over my smoothie.
