Clinique x The Wink

If there is one thing my eyelashes are in dire need of, it's volume. Because of my asian-ness, I was cursed blessed with very thin, very minimal lashes. For a while I thought my lashes needed length so I would buy lengthening mascaras--I looked like I had spider legs stuck to my lash line (not a good look). So after clicks and clicks of research, I realized what I needed to focus on was obtaining mascaras and products that thickened my lashes. Falsies often make my eyelids feel crowded and heavy so when I want to go for a more natural, fresh look, I use Clinique's Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara!

I recently fell in love with this mascara and the effect it has on my thin asian lashes! It's brush has a million tiny bristles on it so when you swipe it on, it coats every single lash you got. Not only does it go on thick, but it fans out your lashes (instead of clump them together) so you can achieve that bold, bright-eyed look! Affordable Drugstore Fall Makeup Tutorial + VIDEO

Happy Wednesday!

Heyyyy guyyyyys. Today’s video is for all you beautiful ladies who are on the hunt for AFFORDABLE, quality makeup! I went for a “fall-esque” look today since Autumn is approaching and literally as I was filming this video, a crazy random rainstorm hit Provo. It was insane. Everyday Makeup Tutorial + VIDEO

I have to say, Wednesdays are becoming my favorite day of the week now since it means a new video!

In today’s video tutorial, I’m showing you how I do my everyday makeup routine! I keep things very simple and easy because I don’t like spending too much time in the morning focusing on my makeup. I’m so excited for today’s video because it features my best friend in the entire world: my husband, Connor! We are doing the ever so popular “Husband Does My Makeup” tag and let’s just say that although Connor gets an ‘A’ for effort, he will never ever ever become a professional makeup artist… Watch the video below to see what the end result looks like! I've always been a skeptic when it comes to airbrush makeup. I saw the ads on TV for them and it never really enticed me. I mean, I already had powder, liquid, creme, etc. foundation to choose from, why add another to the list? It's basically like misting your face with one of those spray fans! It actually makes the process of putting on foundation fun! The makeup itself is also hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and oil, paraben, alcohol, silicone, and fragrance-free, so your skin can continue to be safe and healthy!

From my first impression, I've learned that this is something you definitely have to practice to get really good at (I may have over-bronzed and over-blushed on my right side the first time, haha), but it's not hard to master. Once you get the hang of how the brush works and how to apply it, you can speedily apply your makeup every day like a pro! 

I'm excited to keep using this airbrush system and getting better at it! It's perfect for the summer season because it's long-lasting and won't melt off your face like some foundations!
