Hello Friday the 13th, we meet again.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, can you believe it? I hope you all have something fun planned--whether it's dinner with your lover or a party with your buddies or a sexy date with Netflix ;). For V-day, Connor is gonna cook up a nice dinner for us, meaning I'm going to be imprisoned in our bedroom all day so I don't get nosy with what he's making. It's going to be a lot more low-key than last year (let's be real, anything compared to Disneyland is low-key) but as long as I'm spending it with the guy I'm smitten with, it'll be perfect. :)

Welcome to the fourth and final look in my Valentine Fashion Series with LuLu*s!

Today's outfit is probably my favorite outfit of this series! It's an elegant look for a romantic evening date with your significant other on Valentine's Day. This black lace dress will make any girl feel sexy, confident, and pretty while wearing it out and about. I love how loose and flowy it is--especially if you eat a big meal at dinner, so it can hide your food baby ;). The lace detailing on the sleeves add an element of fanciness to the dress and every girl wants to feel fancy on their night of romance, right? And because it's Valentine's Day, I had to add a pop of red to the outfit, hence these adoooorable heels. I kind of definitely want them in every color now, I might add.

Welcome, welcome to Look 3 of my Valentine Fashion Series with LuLu*s!

Today's look is for all my single ladies who simply want to spend a chill night out with friends on the notorious day of love. Before I met Connor I would acknowledge Valentine's Day as "Singles Awareness Day" and used it as an excuse to hang out with my besties, Ben & Jerry, and watch depressing movies all night. Until, I realized that just because I didn't have a significant other, didn't mean I couldn't have fun on Valentine's Day! I would round up a group of fellow singletons and we would go out and have fun--celebrating our love of friendship (ermagawshhh I'm so sapppyyyy)!

For this specific outfit I wanted to give off a laid back, but cool vibe and still have a little essence of V-day mixed in--hence the red plaid coat! Is it just me or does my coat look like a chic bathrobe? That's probably why I love it so much hahaha. I kept the rest of the outfit mostly black (to give off a little "rebel" vibe *wink), and added a little fun with these Steve Madden Suede Fringe Boots. I've always wanted to own a pair of fringe boots so I was excited to test these babies out! And no "laid back" look is complete without a chill beanie, which is from Gypsy Threads (who is currently doing 40%-75% off their entire store, just saying).

Today's casual, yet chic look is perfect for a Valentine's Day date...during the day!

Some ladies (and men) don't have the luxury of having their evenings free every night. Whether you've got a job that has late hours or little kiddies to take care of every night, an evening dinner date with your significant other just aren't in the stars. But hey, who says Valentine's Day has to be celebrated at night? There are no rules that say you can't enjoy a romantic day date! You can grab lunch at your favorite cafe, enjoy a matinee of a popular RomCom, or even have a picnic at the park...and bring along your pup! It doesn't matter what time of day you're celebrating Valentine's Day, it matters who you're spending it with and what you make of it. :)

For my LuLu*s Day Date look, I have on this extremely comfy Snuggler's Cove Blush Sweater (also available in grey). It's very feminine and the pink is on point with the V-day theme! Although I would usually opt for leggings for a daytime look, I decided to go with a pair of Queen Bee Skinny Jeans to "dress up" the look because hey, it's a date, right? And no date outfit is complete without a sparkly purse to give the outfit some pizazzzzz. This By Any Beads Clutch is my new favorite purse because of how intricate the beading is! Also, you can always swap heels for flats if you're picnicking and you don't want to sink into the grass every time you take a step ;)

ps. How handsome is my date in these pictures?

Almost as handsome as my actual Valentine IRL...

Welcome to my Valentine Fashion series with LuLu*s!

Over the next couple weeks I'll be sharing with you four different looks you can wear to four different Valentine's Day occasions! Whether you have a significant other or not, Valentine's Day should always be celebrated because there'll always be someone (or something) in your life to celebrate your love for! Even if that someone is yourself or that something is pizza #noshame ;) And for those different celebrations, you'll of course need a fab outfit that's perfect for the occasion.

Today is Look #1 and if you haven't guessed it yet, it's a Galentine's Day outfit!

If you don't know what Galentine's Day is, here is one of my favorite TV characters, Leslie Knope, to explain the gist of it to you: "It's only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It's like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas." So yes, that is Galentine's Day. Although I would say your Galentine's celebration doesn't have to be limited to just a breakfast/brunch party--you can make it a cocktail party, a slumber party, or even an all-out dance party if you want! As long as you're celebrating your besties and looking good while doing it, it's Galentine's.

Because of the fun nature of Galentine's Day, I thought I would go with a fun vibe for my first LuLu*s outfit! And what's more fun than a freakin' TUTU??? This All in Good Cheer Tulle Skirt is my first official tutu I've owned, ever (I didn't do ballet or any kind of dance growing up--sad, I know) and I'm obsessed. Who knew twirling and swaying in a bundle of tulle could be so fun and stylish? I paired it with the Dress to Express Top to give it a sophisticated touch and kept up the sass with these Scanda Lace-Up Booties!
