Reality, competition, cooking, drama, comedy--you name it, I watch it.
Fall is the gold mine season when it comes to TV shows! Every night my DVR is filled with shows from that day that I need to watch before I go to bed and when I say need to watch, I mean that if I don't watch it that night, I'll have to stay up twice as late the night after to catch up on everything. (Woe is me, right?) Yes, TV is taking over my life but I'm not really upset about it... because every show is so dang good!
To show you just how obsessed I am with TV, below are the shows that I am currently watching this season.
Keep in mind... this is only for FALL.
Half of these shows are basically trash, but that's one of the big reasons I'm so obsessed with them.
I think I have a problem...
I'm scared to ask this question because the more answers I get, the more my life will be taken over, but...
What are your favorite Fall TV shows?
I wasn't joking when I said that TV will be the death of me.
I've had the sweet opportunity this past month to go on a couple vacations and enjoy an escape from the every day hustle and bustle. To make the escapes even better, I got to dress up in some comfy and cute apparel from SWELL, one of my favorite online shops! I mean, what's a sweet escape without your comfiest, cutest clothes, right?
This first look is from when Connor and I went to Park City for our 2-year wedding anniversary. I wore this outfit during the day when we explored the town and rode the Alpine slide and coaster! This black top is perfect for any occasion and the material is so soft! I love it so much, I even have it in gray too (whoops). The print pants are a fancy version of sweats--they have the comfort of sweatpants but the tribal print makes them look fancy-shmancy! We walked around a lot and I was never once uncomfortable. SWELL, you never let me down when it comes to cute AND comfy clothes.
The only "downfall" of vacationing is that I get way behind on all my TV shows.
#firstworldproblems I know.
But thank goodness for DVR!
This is what the next couple days and nights for me will look like:
Tomorrow I'll be sharing my second SWELL look that I wore this past week in Seattle, one of my favorite places to escape to!
I've spent the past 18 years of my life in school, I think I'm good.
But if I were going back to school in the fall, this is an outfit I'd definitely wear! :) It has elements of both fall and summer: a knit cardigan and fedora to represent fall and a fun, bright dress to represent summer. I mean, after all, although school starts up in the fall, we'll still have summer on our minds! Everyone knows the first day of school is a fashion show (whether you're in grade school or college), so dressing your best is essential. Looking cute is important, but also feeling comfortable is a must and this outfit has got both of those down!

If you're looking for a good place to shop, Aeropostale has a great selection of back to school clothes! I got both my dress and cardigan from there and I loooove it! Now I have a question for you: Are you who you were a year ago? Nope? Well neither am I! Aero believes you've changed and to keep up, so have they. They represent a generation of NOW and they've evolved into a lifestyle brand that celebrates the independence and individuality of today's youth! Aero has an exciting new campaign that is officially launching TODAY and you can be a part of it!
Aero is revealing the first look at their brand new campaign, #AERONOW, as well as their Back to School collection, in stores today. The shopping event begins at 4pm and I promise you, you won't want to miss it! If you stick around till after 6pm, there might even be an after party ;)
Remember to head over to your local Aero store today at 4pm to be a part of this exciting event!
Although I'm not going back to school in the fall, I still love the thrill of shopping for a new fall wardrobe! I love the warm weather of spring and summer, but my heart just belongs in fall! For some reason I'm always drawn to fall trends and colors: boots, scarves, cardigans, and maroons, olives, and tans. During other seasons I have to force myself not to wear them because I look out of place, so I'm sooooo excited to finally be able to wear these trends when they're in style. ;)
What are some of your favorite Back to School/Fall trends?
I mention summer nights in the title of today's post because this outfit is perfect for those summer night activities! You can wear it to a bonfire, backyard party, star gazing, movies in the park, etc. etc! It's comfy, cute, and you can put the flannel on to keep you cozy when the air gets a little chillier at night!
Okay so I really wanna talk about 3 specific items I'm wearing today. First, this v-neck tee. Seriously, the PERFECT v-neck tee I have ever come across. So perfect in fact, that I got it in every possible color--meaning I have 11 of these babies (actually 13 because I have doubles in gray and olive). One might say I'm crazy for having 13 of the same shirt, but if you own one of these, you would understand why you would want one in every color. They are ahhhmazing.
Second, I had been on the prowl (rawr) for a cute tan/beige wide-brimmed wool fedora (yes, I'm very specific, haha) for a really long time but every time I came across one, it was either too expensive or just not the right look. A few weeks when I was in SLC for a girls day out, I walked into H&M with no intention of buying anything and found this perfect hat! It was fate, really because we almost didn't even go into H&M but something told me to just look around for fun and voila! Checked that item off my wish list! :)
And last but not least, this adorable long necklace from Emmajoy! I love the clear stone pendant on it because it goes with everything and anything! Emmajoy has a few other stone pendant necklaces that are super cute like this one and this one, as well as an entire store of apparel and jewelry to shop from! Right now, Emmajoy is offering 20% off to my readers if you use the discount code: ARIEL20. Take advantage of this sweet deal because the code will only last for a month!
Welp, hope your Tuesday is going fine and dandy!
I can't wait for the weekend to come because we are heading up to Park City to celebrate our 2-YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! I can't believe Connor and I tied the knot almost 2 years ago! I mean we are babies compared to those married for double digits, but it still blows my mind that those 2 years just flew right by. I'll save the sappy stuff for another day when I recap our anniversary weekend but for now I'll just say that marrying Connor Hamilton was the best decision I have ever made in my life.
Oh and did I mention that we are going to see WICKED this weekend too?
