Merry Day After Christmas! :)

Hope you all had an amazing Holiday with your family and friends! I spent mine pranking my parents, opening presents (of course), napping, and making cookies with my family. Today I'm sharing the first look of three in my Winter Chill series with Evereve! Evereve is an amazing lifestyle retailer whose mission is to inspire moms to embrace their power and beauty. Obviously, I'm not a mom (I'm a puppy mama, does that count?), and Evereve is a mom-centric company, but they want to stress that their clothes can be worn by any women at any age! All the outfits in this "Winter Chill" series are casual and sporty, hence the word "chill." ;) I'm really loving the sporty-chic vibe these days so I was super excited to put together all these outfits for you guys! A good cozy turtleneck/cowl neck sweater is so key for the winter season--if you don't have one in your wardrobe, you're missing out! I paired my sweater with an olive bomber jacket, and of course you can't go wrong with some leggings and sneakers. I love the splash of coral in these Onitsuka Tiger sneakers--it add a fun vibe to the overall outfit! Anyway, let's talk about this dress. I love love love chambray-everything this season because there is something about denim/chambray that screaaaams fall. Do we all agree? So when I saw this chambray dress on Mindy Mae's Market I knew I had to have it in my wardrobe ASAP! I've already raved on about this dress in my Fall Clothing Haul video, but seriously it is the perfect piece for any and all occasions. It's casual enough to go shopping at the mall in and fancy enough to wear to a wedding reception. I also love how long it is because I'm all about dresses that cover my knee caps in the fall/winter so it keeps them warm. It's overall so flattering and a great fit for all body types! You need it, now.

Funny story.

I walked by Forever 21 the other day and saw this jacket on a mannequin--it was definitely a "Confessions of a Shopaholic" moment where the moment I saw it in the store, I knew I had to have it. It was on the pricier side of what Forever 21 usually sells but it's actually great quality so I didn't mind paying a few extra bucks for that perk.

As I was writing this post, I went to go find the link for this jacket so I could tag it for you folks. At first I scrolled through Forever 21's outerwear section and couldn't find it. Then I searched "suede" and started scrolling through. All of a sudden I see an item that looks identical to mine but it was labeled a "Genuine Suede SHIRT DRESS." I was like, that's not my jacket, so I kept scrolling on. I searched through everything and still couldn't find my jacket--I knew it couldn't be out of style yet because I had just gotten it a couple weeks ago. So out of curiosity I went to take a closer look at the shirt dress that looked like my jacket.

Sure enough, it was my jacket. I was so confused. How is this jacket a DRESS?? It's way to thick to be a dress and it's lined inside like a jacket/coat is. It's pretty stiff-ish like a suede jacket is supposed to be so it doesn't really give your body a shape if you wore it on it's own as a dress (idk how that model is pulling it off tbh). However, I always wondered why they didn't have pockets to put my hands in like a normal jacket would so now that makes sense... Anyway, basically what I'm trying to say is that FOREVER 21 YOU ARE WRONG. This piece of clothing is NOT a dress, it's a jacket. So. Yeah. In your face. You're so wrong. Drop the mic...

but I still love you and will shop from you till forever

It's another #TBT with a vintage ombre-Ariel comin' atcha!

This is definitely an outfit for those warmer Fall/Winter days, which I'm seeing less and less of these days. It was a high of 39 yesterday and I was not okay with that... I feel like a good green cargo jacket is essential for the Fall, which might be why I have three of them in my closet, whoops! This jacket might just be my favorite though because it has the coolest little detail of studs on it that give it just a touch of edge! Also I'm obsessed with the combination of striped tops and cargo jackets so I'm feeling pretty good about this outfit right about now...

I now realize after looking through these pictures that I look very, very mad and unhappy in them.

I swear I'm a happy person! I think I was trying to look all serious and cool-like and obviously, it was a complete fail. How about we just stick to smiling in pics, okay Ariel? Okay.

Soooo, I just realized that this is my fourth post in a row where I am wearing an outfit that only includes black, white, and gray. If it weren't for my newly red hair, you would guess that I hate all colors in the world! I guess now that summer is over I naturally just gravitate to dark, mute colors because they're very Fall-esque. Is that a bad thing? Maybe I'll invest in throwing some color in some of my future looks.... or not. I might just hang around on the dark side for a while. ;)

It's no secret that I am obsessed with TV shows.

Reality, competition, cooking, drama, comedy--you name it, I watch it.

Fall is the gold mine season when it comes to TV shows! Every night my DVR is filled with shows from that day that I need to watch before I go to bed and when I say need to watch, I mean that if I don't watch it that night, I'll have to stay up twice as late the night after to catch up on everything. (Woe is me, right?) Yes, TV is taking over my life but I'm not really upset about it... because every show is so dang good!

To show you just how obsessed I am with TV, below are the shows that I am currently watching this season.

Keep in mind... this is only for FALL.

Half of these shows are basically trash, but that's one of the big reasons I'm so obsessed with them.

I think I have a problem...

I'm scared to ask this question because the more answers I get, the more my life will be taken over, but...
