HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Did you catch my punny blog post title?
I'm so so clever, I know.

Halloween for me this year was a bit low key. To be honest, the only time I dressed up was for this outfit post (sad, I know). With how crazy school and life has been, I haven't had time to go to any Halloween parties and when I did have time, it was too late to find or make a cool costume. I am so ashamed of myself! I even had the awesome idea for Connor and I to be Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Shweetz! How cute would that have been? Ugh.

Oh well. There's always next year, right?

So due to my lack of Halloween spirit this year, here is a glimpse at my Ghosts of Halloweens Past:
I think my all-time favorite might be Amy's grape costume.

What were your favorite Halloween costumes of the past (or even present)?

BTW,
Check out this awesome hair tutorial Elise from Suggestions Salon did on me! Go to Suggestions Salon's blog to view the full tutorial on how to create this crown braid! Maybe it will inspire one of you to be a milkmaid for Halloween! ;)

Shirt: H&M
Scarf: H&M
Triangle Ring: Fifth & Mae
Boots: Thrifted [similar]
Sunglasses: PacSun

Happy Monday--minus the happy, let's face it. I'm Garfield.

When I first laid eyes on this shirt in H&M it was love at first sight.
I feel like I've said that a lot about the clothes I own. I guess I just fall in love very easily with apparel.
I'm easy to please. It's a problem.
But seriously, love this shirt. So comfy and cute.
and who doesn't love a punny shirt?
yeah, I went there.

Introducing: BriteCrochet!

Wednesday, October 16, 2013

Buttoned Cowl: c/o BriteCrochet
Sweater: Forever 21
Boots: Urban Outfitters [Similar]

Happy Hump Day! You folks are halfway there. Before you know it, it'll be Friday!

Today I am so stoked to introduce to you an awesome Etsy shop called BriteCrochet! BriteCrochet is an online store that sells handmade crochet items including headbands, beanies, infinity scarves, and their newest product which I am featuring in my photos: a buttoned cowl! Their colors range from earth tones to neons (which is their specialty). I adore their products for two main reasons: one, every item is handmade so you know that time, effort, and perfection has gone into your purchased product, and two,  their apparel is almost too perfect for the upcoming Fall and Winter seasons.

As you all know, I'm a huge fan when it comes to apparel being stylish and comfy. This buttoned cowl fits perfectly into that double category and you guys, it's YELLOW! Remember when I mentioned how I avoid wearing yellow? (read that post here) Well, this mustard yellow buttoned cowl has shattered all my past insecurities of wearing that infamous color and has caused me to turn over a new leaf! Yes, that is how much I like this accessory.

Seriously guys, you really don't want to miss out on an opportunity of owning a BriteCrochet product! In fact, I want you to own one so bad, BriteCrochet is offering FREE SHIPPING for all Auteur Ariel readers! Just type in BRITEFALL13 at checkout and you're good to go! (this coupon code is only valid 72 hours from today so hurry hurry!) BriteCrochet products is a perfect addition to your Fall and Winter wardrobe!

...and here is a bonus shot for you all. Because that's how much I love you guys.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's post where I will be sharing how I styled BriteCrochet's neon infinity scarf!

Shirt-Forever 21 // Cardigan-Forever 21 // Pants-Cotton On // Hat-Cotton On // Bag-Coach // Boots-[Similar]

Comic Con was in SLC this past weekend! I didn't get to go so this shirt/outfit was my tribute to the event haha.

The first time I laid eyes on this gem of a shirt was on the app, ShopKick (shout out to my fellow ShopKickers!). I immediately went to Forever 21's site & to my disappointment, it was sold out. ): However, a few days later while doing some back to school shopping at the Forever 21 at South Towne Center in Sandy, lo and behold! There was the Stormtrooper shirt chilling on the rack! I didn't even have to think twice before I bought it. (:

Flowers in the Fall

Thursday, September 5, 2013

Jacket-Wet Seal // Jeans-American Eagle // Boots-Wet Seal // Backpack-Wet Seal // Earrings-Thrifted! // Necklace-c/o Wild Butterfly Boutique

Is it wrong of me that I still like wearing florals in the Fall? I purposely bought a floral backpack for school so I could wear something with flowers on it every day.
I'm so weird.

So I am obsessed with my Long Chevron Necklace from Wild Butterfly Boutique. Like no joke, guys.
I am not a huge fan of long necklaces--I just have a hard time finding shirts that look good with them. But for some reason, this chevron necklace goes with EVERYTHING! I've only had it for a little over a week and I've already worn it with like, 5 outfits.
It's so small and dainty, yet it pops on every outfit!
I love it!

Check back tomorrow for a fun giveaway I'm doing with Wild Butterfly Boutique! You could win your own chevron necklace or anything your heart desires from their adorable shop!
I'm so excited to be partnering up with them!

Hope everyone is having a great week!
