Short Necklace: c/o Song Yee Designs
Long Necklace: c/o Sage by Olivia Wares

I NEVER thought I would ever be saying this but thank goodness it's Monday.
I know, I know, you hate me for saying that but I had a very crazy, very busy, weekend and today is the first day in a while that I can finally sleep in past 7am. Like I mentioned in my other post, my weekends and weekdays have been swapped lately so now I work on the weekends and live for the weekdays. I'm such a weird human being.

Anyway, let's talk about these leggings from Madewell that I claimed you NEEEEEEEED. For serious guys, these are the best pair of leggings I've ever owned. I've owned multiple pairs of leggings and these are BY FAR, the thickest, comfiest, nicest ones I've ever put on. They are a little on the pricey side for leggings, but you're paying for amazing quality. I may or may not have worn these for like two weeks straight and there are no signs of stretching out or fading. Madewell also offers free shipping so get yourself a pair of these babies right nowwwww! I promise you will not regret it. Buy them HERE!

I wish I had more cool things to say in today's post but like I mentioned earlier, I am recovering from a crazy weekend and completely running on empty.

Here is a gif to make up for lack of coolness.
You flap those wing-hands Napoleon.

Cheers.

#cheeeezy :)

Today Connor and I (and Samson) are wearing some sweet new shades from Ltd. Optics! I've featured Ltd. Optics on my blog before (view those posts HERE and HERE) so I was stoked when I found out that they were coming out with some new lines! I'm wearing The Boardwalk in black and I love how it fits my face--it has a bit of a feminine shape to it and is meant for people with smaller faces. What's cool about these sunglasses is that they are made of 7-layer skateboard wood with internal spring hinges and they are finished by hand so every pair has it's own unique touch to it! Connor is wearing The Chameleon in Red and if I do say so myself, he's looking pretty handsome in them :). I love how they combined the look of rubber with wood to create something totally stylish and cool! The frames were a little too big for my face, but it looks great on men! Even Samson is looking pretty smooth in them as you can see in the picture above.

We weren't originally going to have Samson in these pictures but Connor isn't a big fan of posing for photos (this is only the second His and Hers post we've ever done, haha) so I figure if he had someone to pose with, he'd be happier :D I'm obsessed with the little guy so any excuse to have him on my blog I'll take!

Be sure to check out Ltd. Optic's new sunglasses lines!
They're perfect for looking stylish on all the summer adventures that await you!

This past Saturday I finally got to meet and hang out with Marsa from The DayLee Journal! She's one of the first bloggers I started following when I entered the blogosphere over a year ago and we bonded over how we were both asians from Hawaii who were born in Japan! It was a bummer though because she moved to Seattle just as we became good friends so we never got to meet IRL. She finally came back to Utah to visit family so we made sure to sneak in a GNO with Rachel and Lo! You know those people who you instantly click with as soon as you hang out? That's Marsa! :) Miss you already!

I also rode a rocking horse made for big kids this weekend.
Yep.

Here's to another week!

Cheers.

Boots with the Furrr

Tuesday, February 11, 2014

Boots: Khombu c/o The Scarpetta
Sweater: Forever 21 [similar]
Coat: Buffalo Outerwear [similar]
Beanie: Vans
Necklace: c/o Style Lately
Earring: Thrifted!

Sorry, no Apple Bottom jeans here.
I do however, got some boots with the furrr [with the furrrrrrr]!

Yep, after my 5th (and hopefully final) winter here in Utah I finally got myself some snow boots that actually keep the cold out and my toes warm! These Khombu boots from The Scarpetta are so comfy and warm, I sometimes wear them without socks because they aren't necessary! I finally own a pair of boots that are meant and made for snow! hallelujah.

Camo + Combat

Wednesday, August 14, 2013

Shirt-Forever 21 // Pants-PacSun // Shoes-Thrifted // Beanie-Vans

I'll admit, I'm not a huge fan of printed jeans--wearing them, that is. I feel like I can't pull them off. However, I am obsessed with these camo skinny jeans I got from PacSun. I think it's because they are made up of neutral tones, so they pop without being too over the top. Who knows, maybe I'll eventually work my way to owning more printed bottoms, but for now I'll stick to wearing these!

And what better way to pair camouflage jeans than with some combat boots! I got the boots for a steal when I was thrift shopping in Brooklyn. I miss the East Coast!

Sticky Rainbows Apparel

Monday, August 12, 2013

While Connor and I were visiting Hawaii this summer, we took a look around the local farmers market. There were lots of interesting booths to look at but there was one in particular that caught our eye. A local apparel company called Sticky Rainbows had a booth filled with colorful tank tops and t-shirts with screen prints of intricate and vintage-inspired designs.

I couldn't take my eyes off all the cool shirts they had! Brad, the owner of the company, was nice enough to let us see some of the designs up close and try a couple of them on!

We decided we couldn't leave without buying ourselves each a shirt so I picked an awesome Owl Head Dress Feathers Tank Top and Connor got a Makalawena Beach Hawaii Retro T-Shirt. We love them!
Not only do these shirts have awesome designs on it, but they are soft, quality Next Level Apparel.

Check out how we each styled our shirts!

Special thanks to Brad for allowing me to feature his company on my blog!
Oh, and kudos to my husband for being a patient and handsome model.
