As I am typing up this blog post I am watching the cheer movie that started it all, the original "Bring It On."
Was this movie always super cheezy or was this level of cheeziness socially acceptable in the year 2000 so we were all blinded?
Either way, this movie is the best.
Missy's the poo.

Welcome to another blog post from my Hawaii vacay this past Christmas!
Today I'm highlighting the awesomely wonderful company, Cotopaxi! I've worked with Cotopaxi a few times already on my blog and every time I wear their gear, I just wanna go out and adventure the world--in this case, Hawaii! I'm also always a huge fan of companies that give back to those in need. Cotopaxi funds solutions that address the most persistent needs of those living in extreme poverty and I think that is freakin' awesome. One of their mottos is "Gear for Good" and that's exactly what they are! I've also had the chance to be part of a video that highlight their products and even got to visit their headquarters and check out where the magic happens! Their gear is cool and the people behind them are even cooler.

Today I'm sporting Cotopaxi's Tikal Active Shell Jacket in the color Thin Mint (anyone craving cookies?) and I'm seriously in love with this baby. I actually saw this jacket while I was touring their headquarters and knew I had to have it the moment I laid eyes on it! It's extremely lightweight and waterproof, which was perfect for home because despite popular belief, it rains A LOT on my side of the island--so I wore this jacket almost every time I went outside. This jacket is ESSENTIAL to those of you who live in rainy areas and for those days where it's sunny, but a little breezy. Their Nazca 24L Travel Pack that I'm wearing made traveling and flying so much easier. I took it on as one of my carry-ons on my flight to Hawaii AND Japan, and it fit everything I needed and stored away like a dream. I'll be writing up another post later on that highlights this pack a little more, as well as shares what I packed in it so look out for that! Aaaaaand of course, you can't overlook how awesome this Do Good T-shirt is because... you just can't. :)

Check out more products from Cotopaxi HERE and support a company that does good for the world!

And now, back to the spirit fingers...

Cheers. (lol)

Tropical Romper

Sunglasses: c/o FREYRS
Sandals: Flip Flop Shop [similar]

Something I learned during my trip home to Hawaii?
Rompers are the PERFECT swimsuit cover-up!

You can go from fancy to beachy in a few seconds with these babies! I never thought about it before but it really came in handy when we went from the beach straight to dinner after and all I had to do was throw on my romper! And guys, this Eva Jo Romper is ROMPER GOALS. I've styled their Cece romper in Army Green on my blog before so I was super excited to show off this charcoal Sylvie romper in Hawaii!

The Sylvie is their signature romper: the cross-over v-neck snaps closed, so easy on and easy off (perfect for beachin' aaaaaand for all you nursing mommas). There is no elastic waist (just a tie), so it's great for any waist size, including you pregger ladies. Besides charcoal, it comes in blue, black, pink, and floral--collect them all! ;) Eva Jo Rompers are perfect for every occasion and a tropical vacation DREAM because of how versatile and comfy they are.

And for all of you who are stuck in a frozen tundra, Eva Jo Rompers can be layered and styled in a winter fashion! Just throw on a scarf, thick coat, and boots and you're ready to go! :) Plus they offer free shipping sooooooo... what are you waiting for?

Don't forget to check out my HAWAII VLOGS on my YouTube Channel and follow along during my trip home!

Cheers.

Hey there strangerrrrr!
I'm back from my MONTH LONG vacation in Hawaii and Japan! Did you miss me?

Adjusting to life back home has been rough. And not because I'm missing the warm beaches of Hawaii and gorgeous views of Japan. The TIME DIFFERENCE is 17 hours between here and Japan so falling back into a normal sleeping pattern has not been pretty. The first week back--I kid you not--I was going to sleep at 10am and waking up at 6pm. It was pretty miserable and I got close to nothing done all week. But with the help of some Sleep Aid and forcing myself to stay awake during daylight, I'm finally snoozing like a normal human being again. IN FACT, my sleep schedule has actually improved! I used to be a crazy night owl before my trip (I couldn't fall asleep before midnight and I'd wake up at 9/10 every day), but now, I'm getting sleepy at 8pm and waking up at 7am! It's actually really weird... but I'll take it. :)

Anyway, so now that I'm back and ready to start blogging again, here is my first Hawaii outfit post! The weather was actually a pain while we were visiting my hometown (it rained a lot a lot a lot) but if you take a 45 minute drive to the other side of the island, you can almost always find sun there. :) That's pretty much what we did the whole time we were there whenever we wanted to go to the beach! It sucked a bit, but at least we were able to escape the rain!

I loved soaking up the sun in my Lime Ricki swimmies! The combination of this solid bralette and striped high-waist bottom is so fun and bold. Also, this cover-up hoodie from Billabong is perfect for just throwing on over your swimsuit on your way to and from the beach! The french terrycloth fabric feels so nice on your skin and it breathes nicely so you won't get too hot in the humidity! If you're heading somewhere tropical this cold winter season, make sure you check out Lime Ricki and Billabong! They'll have all your vacation-style needs!

PS. I VLOGGED my entire Hawaii vacation (and Japan trip) and posted the videos on my YouTube channel! Check out all my Hawaii Vlogs HERE and as a bonus, here's my vlog from the day I wore this outfit:

Cheers.

Hey there, friends!

As most of you know, I'm currently exploring Japan with my BFF, Connor.
I want to make the most of my experience here so instead of worrying about managing my blog while I'm abroad, I'll be taking a little break from posting.

I'll be back with new blog posts, including outfits and photos from my Hawaii and Japan trips, on January 19 so be sure to check back then. :)

In the meantime, feel free to watch:

How's 2016 treating you all so far?

Today I've teamed up with Gap Factory to help kick off your New Year on the right foot with their comfortable and stylish athleisure wear! Yes, you read that right. Athleisure is athletic and leisure combined and it's quite the perfect marriage. This year I'm hoping to be more productive during the day and I know this might sound silly, but I often feel more motivated to accomplish more, when I'm "athletically-dressed." Does that make sense? When I put on an oversized sweater/hoodie, leggings, and sneakers, I just feel ready to take on my busy day of errands and tasks! I also feel the most like myself when I'm in comfy-wear so it's a win-win, really.

I feel like it's so important to feel comfortable in your clothes if you have a long day ahead of you. There's nothing like regretting wear those jeans that a tad bit too tight and having to endure walking around in them all day. Gap Factory's latest athleisure wear is perfect for everyday wear and comfort! Whether you're grabbing brunch with your bestie or stocking up the pantry at the grocery store, you'll feel cozy while also looking very, very cute. Athleisure is casual style with an extra flair that'll give you that extra spark to dominate your day!

Make sure you check out Gap Factory for all your New Year fashion needs! It's your one-stop shopping destination for hitting the latest trends for an exceptional value.

Cheers!
