I'm baaaaaaaaaaack.
(if I had a penny for every time I said that on here...)

Hey blogger nation.
Just dusting off my keyboard here to bring to you an outfit perfect for adventuring! I feel like 2017 is the year for adventures (as opposed to 2016 which was the year for realizing stuff, teehee). I've already got one booked for March--somewhere warm I might add--and I'm hungry for more!

With any adventure you take, you need to be prepped and prepared. Meaning having the perfect outfit and the perfect equipment of course! Just Porter has the perfect line of backpacks and rucksacks for adventures big and small! Whether you're flying for the weekend to California or backpacking the cliffs of Ireland, they've got you covered. Today I'm sporting the Streeter Backpack in grey and I love how perfect it is in size and construction! Also, besides taking them on adventures, Just Porter backpacks are perfect for your daily activities like biking to work or walking to school. It's the ideal backpack for commuters and the perfect size for a person who needs to hold just a little more than a normal daypack.

Make sure you check out Just Porter and all of their awesome gear. Plus a bonus: For each bag bought, Just Porter gives a bag filled with school supplies to a child in need. Need I say more about why this company is awesome? :)

Hope everyone is having an awesome week!

PS. No, Samson did not suddenly grow two sizes and change color. This is Scout! My friend Gentri's pup. She's a cutie and an adventurer herself. She even wandered into some of my photos as you can tell... :)

Cheers.

Jeans: Free People c/o Zappos
Sneakers: Converse
Sunglasses: c/o FREYRS

As I am typing up this blog post I am watching the cheer movie that started it all, the original "Bring It On."
Was this movie always super cheezy or was this level of cheeziness socially acceptable in the year 2000 so we were all blinded?
Either way, this movie is the best.
Missy's the poo.

Welcome to another blog post from my Hawaii vacay this past Christmas!
Today I'm highlighting the awesomely wonderful company, Cotopaxi! I've worked with Cotopaxi a few times already on my blog and every time I wear their gear, I just wanna go out and adventure the world--in this case, Hawaii! I'm also always a huge fan of companies that give back to those in need. Cotopaxi funds solutions that address the most persistent needs of those living in extreme poverty and I think that is freakin' awesome. One of their mottos is "Gear for Good" and that's exactly what they are! I've also had the chance to be part of a video that highlight their products and even got to visit their headquarters and check out where the magic happens! Their gear is cool and the people behind them are even cooler.

Today I'm sporting Cotopaxi's Tikal Active Shell Jacket in the color Thin Mint (anyone craving cookies?) and I'm seriously in love with this baby. I actually saw this jacket while I was touring their headquarters and knew I had to have it the moment I laid eyes on it! It's extremely lightweight and waterproof, which was perfect for home because despite popular belief, it rains A LOT on my side of the island--so I wore this jacket almost every time I went outside. This jacket is ESSENTIAL to those of you who live in rainy areas and for those days where it's sunny, but a little breezy. Their Nazca 24L Travel Pack that I'm wearing made traveling and flying so much easier. I took it on as one of my carry-ons on my flight to Hawaii AND Japan, and it fit everything I needed and stored away like a dream. I'll be writing up another post later on that highlights this pack a little more, as well as shares what I packed in it so look out for that! Aaaaaand of course, you can't overlook how awesome this Do Good T-shirt is because... you just can't. :)

Check out more products from Cotopaxi HERE and support a company that does good for the world!

And now, back to the spirit fingers...

ps. If you haven't yet, be sure to check out my HAWAII TRAVEL VLOGS!

Cheers. (lol)

Winter Chill w/ Evereve: Look 3 + $100 GIVEAWAY!

Dress: BB Dakota c/o Evereve [similar here and here]
Beanie: Free People c/o Evereve
Tights: similar
Boots: Thrifted! [similar]

Welcome to the third and final Look of my Winter Chill series with Evereve! :)
If you missed Look 1 and 2, view them HERE and HERE.

This has been such a fun series for me because I got to show off my sporty chic side with these super comfy and cute outfits! I'm obsessed with this BB Dakota plaid dress because of how casual it is--I can wear it grocery shopping, clothes shopping, car shopping, basically any kind of shopping, hehe. The buffalo plaid design also screams Winter for some reason--I feel like I just associate plaid with the colder seasons? Maybe because most of the time plaid clothes are super cozy and warm. :) Also, this Free People pom beanie just adds such a fun touch to the outfit. When Connor was taking these pictures for me, he kept saying that he thought the "pom" on the beanie was my hair because of how similar the colors were. And now I can't stop staring at these pictures thinking the same thing..... Oh boy.

I hope you enjoyed this Winter Chill series and was able to maybe draw some inspiration from these outfits for your winter season looks!

Leggings: c/o Evereve
Scarf: c/o StyleGirl
Boots: c/o Khombu

Welcome to Look 2 of my Winter Chill series with Evereve!
If you missed Look 1, check it out HERE.

This Free People thermal has been blowing up the Internet lately so I thought I would jump on the train and ride along! ;) It's definitely popular for a reason because this baby is sooooooo cute and comfy. I love how long it is because it goes perfectly with a pair of leggings! It's also super flattering and comes in the cutest array of colors. I got mine from Evereve and that's where you should pick yours up too! Aside from this cute thermal, they have a great collection of sweaters, leggings, and all your winterwear needs. They've also just added new clearance markdowns up to 70% off, so be sure to check them out HERE!

Today's our last day in Hawaii before we jet off to our next adventure in Japan! I feel like these past two weeks have flown right by but I'm glad that I'm able to look back on them via my VLOGS and relive the moments!

This is currently my feels right now:
Life, man.

I hope you liked Look #2 in this series! Look #3, along with a $100 GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY TO EVEREVE will be posted TOMORROW so be sure you swing on back for that!

Put a braid in it.

Cardigan: c/o Aeropostale
Purse: c/o LuLu*s [similar]
Sandals: c/o LuLu*s [similar]

If you hate it then you shoulda put a braid in it.
A direct quote from Queen B.
Kind of.

Whenever my hair is feeling flat or greasy or just horrid, putting some braids in usually spruces it up! My friend Jess puts little braids in her hair from time to time and I thought it was so cute, I had to try it out. It definitely gives the look a boho/hippie touch, which I love! This bright, colorful top from Free People needed a fun hairdo to match so it was the perfect time to add some braidage.

I also realized this is probably my last summer outfit I'm going to post so say au revoir to shorts and sandals on the blog! It's been real but I'm ready to start posting some jackets, boots, and beanies, oh my. Connor and I went to the BYU football game last night and it got CHILLY when the sun went down so Fall is definitely making its presence here!

Mother Nature, I'm all about some chilly weather but let's hold off on the snow for as long as possible, okay?

Here's your celebratory Friday gif:

Go party.

Cheers.
