Kind of.

Whenever my hair is feeling flat or greasy or just horrid, putting some braids in usually spruces it up! My friend Jess puts little braids in her hair from time to time and I thought it was so cute, I had to try it out. It definitely gives the look a boho/hippie touch, which I love! This bright, colorful top from Free People needed a fun hairdo to match so it was the perfect time to add some braidage. 

I also realized this is probably my last summer outfit I'm going to post so say au revoir to shorts and sandals on the blog! It's been real but I'm ready to start posting some jackets, boots, and beanies, oh my. Connor and I went to the BYU football game last night and it got CHILLY when the sun went down so Fall is definitely making its presence here!

Mother Nature, I'm all about some chilly weather but let's hold off on the snow for as long as possible, okay?

This outfit is perfect for a nice, lazy weekend, which I am hoping to have!

Style Lately has a great collection of comfy tees and tanks--like this Gold Heart Top--that are just right for lounging in or going out! And can I just say that this cardigan from LuLu*s is probably the coziest piece of clothing I've ever worn? Seriously, I could live in this thing.

For all you Utah peeps, don't forget that tomorrow at 2pm is the Gap fashion show at University Mall! I won't be walking the runway because I can't really walk like a normal person yet with my bum knee--let alone, walk on a runway haha. But I will be there supporting my blogger buddies that are walking the show! Gap also had us style our own mannequins with their clothes so be sure to drop by their store and check out the outfit I put together! Has anyone ever purposely made a messy bun?

Every time I try to make a messy bun, it's either too polished or too messy (like in my pictures today, it's a little too polished--in my opinion at least).

And what's even more annoying?

I always end up with the perfect messy bun when I'm not even trying.

Like seriously,

at night when I'm washing my face and I throw up my hair in five seconds just to merely get it out of my face...

BAM.

But guess what folks, it's 12:07 AM and nobody cares if I look cute.
