Soooooooo these photos are a MAJOR throwback.
6 months to be exact..... whoops!

In all the craziness that was 2016, this outfit somehow got lost among my Japan posts and never ended up seeing the light of day--till now! But you know what they say: Better late than never. :) Even if it is 90 degree weather outside and this outfit no longer is relevant to the current season or trends...

These photos were taken in Arashiyama--one of my favorite places we visited while we were in Japan! It was the same day we visited the Monkey Park and Bamboo Forest AND rode around the area on bikes! I would highly, highly recommend visiting there if you ever find yourself in that neck of the woods, especially if the weather is warm! The scenery was drop dead gorgeous and there was always something around to do or explore. Just looking at these pictures makes me want to go back already! Perhaps next year? We shall see...

Since I'm throwing it back with these pics I might as well leave this vlog here for you guys as well! ;) It's our adventure from the day we visited Arashiyama. Feel free to binge watch all my Japan vlogs as well as subscribe if you want to say updated with my videos! (I post every week, woo!)

Have a great week, friends!

Cheers.

Hey Monday.

These outfit photos were taken on the first day we took Tokyo on our own! No tour guide, no translator, just us and our smart phones (thank goodness). We spent the day exploring Ueno, Shibuya, and Odaiba and it was soooo incredibly fun! Something about being able to navigate around in a foreign country is so empowering--as cheesy as it may sound. I'm already getting Japan withdrawals! I took these pictures in a couple different parts of Ueno Park because everywhere was so dang pretty! I kept seeing places I wanted to take pictures in--I couldn't make up my mind.

The coat from Windsor kept me so warm and comfy throughout the day! I love the combo of the sherpa and faux leather materials--I think it gives it such a fun vibe. Windsor has a ton of awesome coats for these last final weeks of winter, as well as a sweet collection of new spring arrivals for those of you already preppin' for warmer weather! You should definitely check them out (if you haven't already).

Also, you'll be seeing A LOT of this Fawn Design bag in my Japan posts because I literally took this baby everywhere we went. It was SO perfect for day-traveling because it was big enough to hold all my essentials, but small enough that it wasn't bulky and didn't weigh me down! Fawn Design bags are so insanely cute and chic--I can't get enough of them!

More Japan posts to come, stay tuned!

ps. Watch the VLOG from this day's adventure! We ride swan boats, hang out with a panda, and view Tokyo from a humongo ferris wheel.

Cheers.

Wuddddup Christmas Eeeeeeve!

Is it random that whenever I hear the words "Christmas Eve" I think of Eve from Life-Size dressed up in her Christmas outfit? Which BY THE WAY, they're making a Life-Size 2. WHUT. So excited. Can't wait to shine brighter and farther.

If you've seen my Holiday Lookbook video, this outfit might look a little familiar to you! ;) Christmas isn't Christmas without an "ugly sweater" being worn at one point. amiright? I know this adorable owl sweater doesn't technically qualify as an ugly sweater cus it's so dang cute, but it's the spirit of it that counts. :) Although these pictures portray a Winter Wonderland version of Christmas for me, I'm actually having a quite green (and rainy) Christmas this year in Hawaii. It's been 4 years since I've been home for the holidays with my entire family so this will definitely be one to remember!

Have a merry lovely awesome wonderful sweet crazy Christmas, friends!
Love you alllllll.

ps. If you haven't seen my Last Minute DIY Christmas Gifts video yet, watch it HERE!
And if you didn't know, I'm daily vlogging my Hawaii and Japan trip so catch up on those vlogs HERE.

Cheers.

HAPPY DECEMBER!!!!

Guys.
This is a formal warning.

I will be wearing A LOT of turtleneck and cowl neck sweaters on my blog this season.
I'm sorry.
Never mind, I'm not sorry.

Soooooo deal with it :)

I feel like turtlenecks are the best because it's basically a sweater and a scarf built into one! It keeps your neck nice and cozy, while still looking fab. This grey turtleneck from Windsor is one of my favorites by far because of how thick the knit is! The day we took these photos it was freeeeeezing but I was staying strong and keeping warm in my sweater! I also love how baggy it is (and no, I'm not trying to hide a baby bump, haha) because baggy = comfort, yaaasss. Windsor has the coziest of sweaters right now so head over to their site and shop, shop, shop!

*******************************************************

I'm kind of freaking out right now because we leave for Hawaii and Japan in TWO weeks and I feel like I am nowhere close to ready. I still have 3 videos to pre-film, many outfits to take photos of, and tons of cuddles to have with Samson!!! Did I mention we are leaving Samson behind for that entire month we are traveling? It's probably the saddest feeling ever (as of now). I hate that he's not going to understand why Connor and I won't be around for a long time. I know dogs can't tell time, but humans can so it's mostly gonna suck for me. But then on the bright side, I am going to Hawaii and Japan...... Why can't traveling overseas with pets be an easier process???
But really, how am I supposed to leave this face behind???
waaaaahhhhh.

Okay, I'm stopping before I start to ugly cry.

ps. If you missed it, check out my Loose Waves Hair Tutorial video HERE!

Have a cool beans Tuesday, ya'll.

Cheers.
